Mission Team“Our Church’s Wider Mission: It’s who we are.” For years, the national setting of the United Church of Christ has used this phrase to help people understand mission.
The Mission Team of the SE Association is charged with interpreting, reflecting and connecting the Biblical and theological and spiritual bases of mission. We do so by: · Helping our congregations individually and our Association collectively to identify, understand and cultivate their mission fields, and to develop and implement their mission strategies. · Nurturing stewards in our church’s wider mission. · Connecting and supporting congregations, the association, the conference and other religious bodies with resources to carry out our common mission and work for justice and peace in the world. INTERACTIVE MISSION INFORMATION The links below have been created to help congregations and individuals of the SE Association UCC share their mission trip experiences and find mission trip opportunities. Local congregations are asked to tell us about trips and organizations that they have worked with, as well as invite others in the Association to join in their mission trips. We intend this to be a database of resources which can help our local churches connect with one another. The Mission Team of the SE Association of the Wisconsin Conference UCC has not verified the content and expects that each church will research any project they undertake.
