Easter fell on April 12th in a spring so unseasonably warm and early one might think Maine was a southern state. Purple crocuses already had come and gone. Yellow daffodils smiled in full bloom. No coats were required outside. If ever Meg had a chance to get me atop Cadillac Mountain to see the sunrise, this was it.

Welcome to the Southeast Association of the Wisconsin Conference...


As part of the Wisconsin Conference, your Southeast Association is working on your behalf to strengthen and support your local congregation and ministries.   Your Association PROVIDES assistance and resources to churches seeking new pastoral leadership, HELPS those churches that are undergoing unusual difficulties, RESPONDS to specific requests of particular concerns or needs, REFERS concerns to the appropriate Team, larger body, or ministerial staff, OFFERS  programs that directly relate to the local church programming, SUPPORTS the ministerial staff’s professional growth and sharing with other ministers, ORGANIZES an annual meeting for the churches to gather, share, and worship together, ADMINISTERS faithfully and responsively on behalf of the 57 churches that make up your Southeast Association.

Your Association also works on your behalf by overseeing the preparation of individuals for authorized ministry in the United Church of Christ.  Your Association also encourages, guides and assists new congregations who wish to enter into our Association.

Your Association will speak and work on your behalf in order to be true to our understanding of the Gospel message and the understanding that God is still speaking to us and through us!
